Cemac Construction is proud to carry out works on the extensive fit-out of KPMG Hamilton's office space. This project involved the complete transformation of two floors in a large commercial building, breathing new life into an older structure. From bare bones to boardroom: A complete transformation
The project began with a blank canvas – two floors stripped down to their bare essentials, save for the exterior glass facade. Cemac Construction then stepped in, meticulously constructing a modern and functional workspace. A new suspended ceiling provided a clean and finished look, while the ingenious feature of flush-mounted floor boxes for power and data connections eliminated unsightly cables, creating a seamless and professional environment for meetings and presentations.
Embracing the challenge: Renovation in a complex environment
The project presented several unique challenges. Working within an older building meant navigating limited access for equipment, materials, and services. Unlike new builds designed for easy renovation requirements, this structure required innovative solutions and problem-solving. Additionally, the renovation took place while other floors remained occupied. Cemac Construction prioritised clear communication and meticulous scheduling to minimise disruption and ensure the smooth operation of existing businesses that occupied the other floors.
